It's so amazing.
The magnificent story a single, vintage object can hold. That is why I dedicate hours upon hours hunting for vintage finds. Whether it be from a family friend, or the bottom of a "give away" pile at an estate sale, each of my items holds a unique story.
I love looking at vintage pieces I keep in my own home, and wonder who used them before me. For an antique mixing bowl, I imagine a young housewife cooking in her 50's apron. A toy train-a young boy in 1966 just recieving it for Christmas, his eyes brightening with joy.
I take the stories these simple objects tell, and let them help create a new story as well. A story of my home.
I hope my items can create a story in yours as well!
